Rescues and Special Needs Cats
Martha is spayed and ready for her special home. I would be happy to get into details with any serious inquiry.
She can get along with other mild mannered pets. She is super sweet once she knows you
Adoption Fees
I don’t like to make this section about money. I often ASK for cost of spay/neuter, but the bigger issue to me is to get the pet into a good home sooner than later. I spend a lot of my own out of pocket money on rescues, because I know no one else will. Some are purebreds with issues handed over to me, some are just ‘born poor’ to the strays no one will spay (except me when I have the ‘extra’ money and can trap them). The town I live in will not do anything about the strays. They just blame the nearest home who has cats.
There is no where to take them without paying a fee. I use a humane live trap. S/N and release the wild ones – at my cost as there are no free clinics out here, and I rehome the tamable.
Everyplace I have ever lived, the cats in need always make their way to my house. They just ‘know’ … Many say it’s because I have cats … But it’s happened all my life even at times when I had no others, they would still seek me out.
So to those who can give a good home to the deserving animal, freeing up my time/space for the next one is a help in itself. Those who have a little extra and want to contribute to the cause, I graciously accept that as well. Donations are not tax deductible, I am not any official not for profit … Just a cat lady working toward ending feral cat reproduction. Thank you!
